Explore America''s favorite National Park on a 1 night, 2 day camping adventure. Discover Yosemite by camping in a beautiful mountain setting, swimming in fresh rivers, and hiking through the wilderness.
**Day 1 of tour** We leave San Francisco in the early morning headed for the Giant Sequoia trees. The largest living things on earth, the trees are breathtaking and the hike through the Sequoias is shaded and pleasant and brings you right up close to these massive wooden monuments, some of which are over one thousand years old and measure up to 30ft wide & 300ft tall. The afternoon hiking can vary depending on the chosen hike for the day but we head into Yosemite Valley for a hike that takes us to spots with amazing views. On this first day we hike as a group so everyone gets to know each other better. The hikes can vary depending on what''s best for the time of year but Yosemite is so vast there''s always plenty of good trails to hike.
**Day 2 of tour** Rising early we prepare breakfast and lunch, clean up camp and head off in the van into Yosemite Valley which is the most famous and picturesque part of Yosemite with some of the world''s tallest waterfalls and rockclimbs and vistas made famous by Ansell Adams'' photographs. We start off with a tour through the valley after which you can choose what you wish to do for the day. The valley contains a number of great hikes you can take or you can rent a bike or hang out in the meadows and just relax for the afternoon. In the late afternoon, we meet up and head back to San Francisco arriving around 9 PM.
