The West Pass is a jump on jump off trip. This minimum 10 day (14 days recommended) circuit starting and finishing in Vancouver can be extende if you wish to stay longer anywhere as it is valid from May to October. Start from the picturesque city of Vancouver and let us lead you through the infamous rocky mountains and surrounding areas of B.C. and Alberta. This trip will take you to the following:
Leg: Vancouver - Whistler
LIONS GATE BRIDGE- built in 1938 by the Guinness Family (Irish Brewers)
CYPRESS MOUNTAIN- the best view of Vancouver ¥ Sea-to-Sky Highway -
seaside towns, mountains, and glaciers
WATERFALLS - 2 of the 6 highest waterfalls in North America (Shannon and Brandywine Falls)
WHISTLER - swimming, free canoeing, or bask in the sauna

Leg: Kamloops - Valemount
BC ROCKIES - look for wildlife... good chance to see black bears, grizzlies and moose
VALEMOUNT - a real horse ranch, nestled between the Columbia Mountains and the Rockies. Horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, campfire, barbeque and outdoor hot tub!

MOUNT ROBSON- the highest mountain in the Rockies at nearly 4,000m!
KINNEY LAKE - glacier lakes, wetlands, glaciers, and high alpine views!
MALIGNE CANYON - amazing deep narrow canyon

ATHABASCA FALLS - powerful battle between rock and water

YOHO NATIONAL PARK- see the 2nd highest falls in North America (Takkakaw Falls)
KELOWNA - winery tour, beach volleyball, and swimming at the beach
KETTLE VALLEY RAILWAY- mountain bike on a scenic old abandoned railway bed
Leg: Kelowna - Penticton
HOUSEBOATING - enjoy the sun, swim, and relax on the Okanagan Lake
OKANAGAN LAKE- rumoured to be the home of the legendary monster the Ogopogo!
PENTICTON - on the tip of CanadaÕs only desert... rattlesnakes and cactus!
SKY DIVING - feel the most intense adrenaline rush of your life!

SKAHA LAKE- beach volleyball and swimming
MANNING PARK- high alpine scenery (look for bears and moose)
HOPE SLIDE- massive slide buried the old highway, including several cars, in 1965
RAMBO FANS - see the town John Rambo made famous
Accommodation is not included in the cost of the tour but Moose Travel Network ensures beds are available to each passenger at all major stopovers. However, the accommodation we gaurantee is only at certain Hotels and are co-ed dorm room beds only. Passengers wishing to stay at certain places or requiring more privacy are encouraged to book their own accommodation. We guarantee a minimum of 3 departures a week from each location (departures may be as frequent as daily at certain times of the year). Schedules are available upon arrival in Canada. Most Hostels we stop at have cooking facilities and we do grocery stops along the way. Often, we also organize group meals for those interested - it makes cooking easy and cheap! As regards your budget for the trip - most of your money will be spent in the following three areas: Accommodation - budget approximately $15-$20 Cdn. per night
Food - budget approximately $10-$25 Cdn. per day depending on how much and where you eat.
Activities - we get discounts on most activities and some such as hiking, canoeing and swimming are free, but there is always a choice!!
