Uplands Centre Hostel is situated on Observation Hill, adjacent to the University of Dar es Salaam (The Hill), opposite to the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre.
The high altitude compared to its surroundings enables it to enjoy the cool breezes of the Indian Ocean from the east.
It has twenty-eight self-contained rooms with two beds each. We provide meals per order in our restaurant and, for your safety, have security arrangements with a professional security firm.
For tourist guests travelling to/from Zanzibar, the Hostel organises a shuttle service to/from the port.
