Phakding - Namche( 3,440m)
Cross the Bhote Koshi and steep climb to Namche Bazaar. Everest (8,848m.) and Lhotse(8,516m.) come into sight. Thamsherku (6,623m.) and Kwangde(6,011m.)loom to the east and west, and the secured mountain Khumbila (5,707m.) dominates the skyline to the north behind the village.
