The Quentin Hotel is a newly renovated 50-room Hotel situated in the Leidsekade just opposite the city's casino. The Hotel also offers wonderful canal views. The Hotel is in the heart of Amsterdam close to the casino, cafés, clubs, bars, shops, restaurants and the famous Leidseplein. It is also known for its unique atmosphere, hosting many of the city's young music bands on a regular basis meaning you don’t have to leave the Hotel to have a good time!
The beautiful Museumplein is less than 5 minutes away and is the home of the Rijksmuseum, with the most important collection of Dutch old masters, sculptures, prints and antique furniture. This is also where you will find the Van Gogh Museum which shows over 200 of the artist's prime works as well as contemporary artists. The Stedelijk Museum can be found there also which has an outstanding collection of modern art, photography, video and design.
Other attractions which are nearby include Dam Square which is a 7 minute walk away through the city's main shopping area. Some of the city's greatest attractions are located near Dam Square including the Queen's Palace, Madam Tussaud's Museum, The Dam Monument, and of course The Red Light District, the most famous district in the world.
The city's famous markets like Albert Cuyp, the colourful flower market, and the Waterlooplein flea market, are all within walking distance and can be easily reached from the hotel.
