Located between three national parks, The Magic Roundabout is located in the Baeza-Cosanga cloud forest, three hours east of Quito by bus.
A recently opened British-run hostel, we are set in 80 acres of primary and secondary cloud forest. On the property there are rivers and a number of waterfalls within easy walking distance.
The area is well-known for its bird watching, with over 100 species of birds seen on the property. In addition, the Hostel makes a good base for the kayak enthusiast as there are two grade-5 rivers in the vicinity, which are negotiable during the dry season from October through to March.
Our Hostel is a great place to unwind on your travels around the country and relax in a hammock overlooking the Quijos Valley.
We currently have a dormitory with 14 beds, and a private cabaña. We also have a restaurant with a set meal every night serving a selection of international cuisine, a bar, satellite TV, very hot showers, book swap, board games and a good selection of music.
Whether you want to stop of on the way to the jungle, or have a weekend break from Quito, The Magic Roundabout makes an ideal break.
