North Stradbroke Island on Brisbanes doorstep is one of Queenslands natural treasures. It is one of the largest sand Islands in the world with kilometres of white sandy beaches. Whales, dolphins, turtles and manta rays can often be spotted from the spectacular North Gorge at the tip of the Island.
PADI dive centre on site. Daily boat dives, dive courses, snorkelling, sandboarding, sea kayaking, 4 x 4 tours, surfing, great beaches, restaurants and hotel.
Courtesy bus departs Tinbillies hostel, Herschel St. (opp. Transit centre in Roma St) Mon & Fri ($8 charge for water transport).
