Skyline House nowadays is having two houses, one is located in a very nice area where free riding and biking is a pleasure, and the other is at the main avenue at the center of La Paz City.
And it is opened to travelers from all over including of course, Bolivia itself, whoever wants to spend 1 or more days in one of the most charming cities in South America: La Paz, Bolivia.
A very special place:
La Paz is a one and a half million people city and it is located in a basin between the mountains on the altiplano of Bolivia.
Skyline Y.H. is located outside this basin.
At 3.800 mtrs. above sea level and at mountains level, this area is called Ciudad Satelite and it has a panoramic view of the whole city of La Paz, from the top.
Around th area where the small house number one is located, there is a wide neighbourhood having mainly middle class people living around.
A flat place where biking is a pleasure, fresh and pure air; Indian market on Sundays; supermarket close to the house, post office, internet cafes, restaurants and laundry shops are closely available.
You can reach the city center in 30 minutes walk and in 15 min in one route budget taxis called 'trufis'.
The social view:
When booking to Skyline YH, you are registering not only to get the accommodation required but also to kindly receive guidance from the manager or the employees about what to do in your short stay in the city in order to get acquainted to the people and places, having a deep perspective through that guidance to easily make friends and also to practice the local language; all under the supervision of the manager.
