Driving your selves through the mountain passes of Tanglang La and Khardung La would be the greatest adventures of lifetime, backed up with an experienced team and machines to catch your problems in few seconds. The same team will take care of your daily maintenance, breakdown, refilling of gas and even helping in changing a flat tyre too.
**Day01: Delhi to Haridwar** From Delhi we board the fastest train to Haridwar- the sacred Hindu shrine at the foothills of River Ganges coming down from the high Himalayan Mountains. After spending time at the pooja places of Har Ki Paudi, ''The stairs of God'' transfer to Dehradun by cars. On the way visiting Rishikesh- another holy place in between, completes the brief experience to discovering Hindu ways of life. The meditation centers of Rishikesh, the peaceful garden with spiritual vibrations and mighty River Ganges coming from up hills is all-excellent. Afternoon check in to Hotel at Dehradun and evening technical briefing and mechanical introduction with the jeeps. **Day02: Dehradun to Rohru** Morning as expected is highly exciting with jeeps on roads for about 100 plus Kms. Dehradun to Shimla on our selected route is generally not used by the routine transports that makes our expedition with almost No Traffic towards upper villages of Shimla. We pass Chakrota and Tuni- the border villages between Garwhal and Himachal, the drive offers good scenic surroundings and small villages after every few hours drive and finally take to the green pastures of Hatkotti and Rohru areas of upper regions of Shimla under majestic Great Himalayan ranges. **Day03: Rohru to Sojha** Drive to Sojha is another day''s excitement through a national Highway to Kinnaur and Spiti on Old Hindustan Tibet Road. After Luri diversion on Sutlej River before Rampur, the drive again enters into remote valleys of outer Kullu division and late afternoon the powerful engines cross mighty Jalori Pass and take you to Sojha - a campsite in green forests with spectacular flora and fauna. **Day04: Sojha to Manali** Manali is another 90 Kms from here and one full day is spent for necessary purchasing, correspondence and offcourse to visit Buddhist Gompas, hundreds of old villages - an old and rare mountain architecture, handicraft of Kullu, memories of Mahabharata Age- temples and ruins witnessing Pandava''s 5000 years back exile period in these mountains. **Day06: Manali to Keylong** Keylong is the next stoppage after crossing 13500 feet high Rohtang Pass. You are in Lahoul Valley now- the land of peaceful Buddhist people. Driving along the river Chandra, originating from beautiful lake of moon- Chander Tal in Spiti offers wonderful encounters with barren mountains, empty roads, double storied mud houses, flat roofs, large waterfalls, old forts and the most amazing thing of the day is definitely the people. The Mongolian featured Lahoulis enjoy the best of Buddhism and Hinduism under the same roofs. They have an endless story of struggle , survival and existence from the lack of awareness, and education to trade struggle in Tibetan, Chinese, Yarkand and Baltistan areas for years. Today the valley claims for the best per capita income of the country. **Day07: Keylong to Sarchu** Keylong to Sarchu over Baralacha Pass is a different experience with high altitude roads, maintenance people, ending population and a hard life towards borders. Patseo (the ancient trade gathering center), Zing Zing Bar and Suraj Tal- another high altitude lake and the origin of River Bhaga is seen this day. Lot of trekking routes emerges from these mountains, the landscape is barren, mountains are extremely quite and shining with straight sun, chilled rivers and cold breeze is all on the way to Tsokar. **Day08: Sarchu to Tsokar** Pang is the oldest establishment on this route still providing some medical assistance and tea coffee. **Day09: Tsokar to Tsemoriri** Tsemoriri is reached after driving about 90 Kms on forbidden lands of Rupshu valley, the lake is amazingly beautiful and large, we spend full day to feel this damsel in high mountains. **Day10: Tsemoriri to Chumathang** Stay at Chumathang for next night. As this route was often used during the ancient traders to Silk Route, that produced a special nomadic tribe in this region that used to snatch the valuables from the traders, the tribe is still in existence and normally they still don''t like staying at one place. Large strong horses with very special features can be seen in this valley. **Day11: Chumathang to Leh** Driving to Leh with a visit to one of the most popular monastery Hemis is the real entry to the capital of Ladakh. **Day13: Leh to Pangong Tso** Next days are really wonderful with exploring Pangong Tso Lake and Khardung La pass- the highest road of world. **Day14: Back to Leh** End of the wonderful tour but the memories will last forever.
