Day 01:
Arrive Kathmandu, welcome garland and transfer to the Hotel.
Rest of the time free.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02:
Breakfast at the hotel.
AM: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City and Swayambhunath
Kathmandu City
Kathmandu Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. Here, the kings of Nepal are crowned and solemnized. Interesting things for visitors to see are Taleju temple, gigantic figure of Kalbhairav (the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar or Nautale (nine story) palace and temple of Kumari or the residence of living goddess.
Swayambhunath Stupa
The world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas built 2000 years ago situated on a hillock about 77 meter above the level of the Kathmandu Valley. You will also have a grand view of the valley from this spot.
PM: Sightseeing tour of Patan City
Patan City
The ancient city is situated on the southern bank of the river Bagmati and is about five kms southeast of Kathmandu. The city is full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonder Carvings. Noted for its craftsmen and metal workers, it is known as the city of artists. Lalitpur, ''the city of beauty,'' is another name for Patan.

Day 03:
Kathmandu – Paro
The flight into the Himalayas reveals breathtaking views of the great peaks, taking you right into the Dragon Kingdom’s cloud scraping airstrip at Paro (Altitude 7000 ft.)
Your Bhutanese escort from Bhutan Travel Service will greet you on arrival and drive to the Hotel. After refreshments take a stroll around the little town at Paro.
Dinner and overnight at Paro.

Day 04 :
Paro - Thimphu
After breakfast a 2- hour drive through the Paro and Thimphu valleys to the capital of Bhutan (Altitude 7000 ft.). En-route visit the Simtokha Dzong, The oldest fortress of its kind, which once guarded the Thimphu valley, built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1627. It is now a religious university.
Drive to Hotel River View for lunch, then visit the National Library, which holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the school of Thangka Painting and the Traditional Medicine Institute, where centuries old healing arts are still practiced. Visit the Memorial Chorten to His Late Majesty, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck and take 15 minutes ride to Dechenchholing, to witness the Gold and Silversmiths at work. Then, the Tashichhodzong(“Fortress of the Glorious Religion''), built in 1641 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and reconstructed in 1961 by the Late King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck using traditional methods, without the use of any nails or plans on paper.
Dinner & overnight at Hotel.

Day 05:
Thimphu - Paro
If this day is Saturday, visit the weekly market , where you can mingle in the hustle and bustle of the crowds of shoppers and villagers . Then visit the Handicrafts Emporium for a little souvenir shopping. Lunch at the Hotel the afternoon can be spent at leisure to peep into the shops of Thimphu town.
Evening drive back to Paro.
Overnight Paro.

Day 06:
Paro - Sightseeing
The day begins with a visit to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. This Dzong is of historical Importance, from its ramparts the Bhutanese repelled Tibetan invaders. On a clear day, the 24,000 ft. white domed peak of scared Chomolhari ( Mountain of the Goddess ) looms overhead. After lunch at the Hotel, visit Taa Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, it has a fine collection of ancient Thangka paintings, textiles, weapons and artifacts.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07:
Paro - Kathmandu
Early breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to the airport to board the departure flight. Your escort will assist you with exit formalities and bid you farewell.

Day 08 :
Transfer to airport for final departure.
