For those wishing to enjoy the treasures of the Manly area all in one day, this one''s for you.
From Circular Quay it''s a pleasant ½ hour ferry ride to Manly (own cost). Your guide will meet you at the wharf, escort you to the beach and introduce you to your fellow paddlers and craft.
You then begin with a gentle paddle along the shoreline, taking in some of Manly''s exclusive real estate, then onto the beautiful waters of Spring Cove for refreshments on one of the secluded sandy beaches of the North Head National Park. This area is as steep in history as the amazing cliffs that you will paddle beside. Your guide will entertain you with the many tales to be told of days gone by.
After an optional swim, snorkel or a short walk you will make your way back to Manly Cove where our journey ends. Our friendly and informative guides will be happy to direct you to the many other places of interest in the Manly village.
A ½ day trip, a full day of fun.
Start Times: 9.30am, 1.30pm
Trip Duration: 3 hours (2½ hours gentle paddling)
Departure Point: Our guides will meet guests at the end of the Manly Wharf. From the city it''s a half hour ferry ride departing from Circular Quay. Bus number 144 from Wynyard also services the area. Car parking is available but can be limited.
