Heading west we descend into the hidden valleys of the Krantzkloof gorge where we will have an opportunity to take in the spectacular views of the cliff faces surrounding the gorge. Moving on we travel the old road between Durban and Johannesburg stopping for photo opportunities of the Valley of 1000 Hills.
The park we visit will present many opportunities for great game viewing and superb photo’s of the animals. The park is home to many varieties of animals and these include Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog and Hippopotamus. The reserve is also one of the few in South Africa to boast the widest range of different antelope along with excellent bird of prey sightings. Don’t forget to bring binoculars if you have them and a camera with lots of film.
Lunch is included in the price and we enjoy it by relaxing at the rock pool in the reserve and doing the traditional things that us as South Africans do, we braai. {BBQ} All meals provided also cater for vegetarians so be sure when booking to specify any special dietary requirements. Guests are to provide their own drinks but fruit juice is available with lunch and the guide does have a cash bar on hand.
