**Day 1: Arrive in Mongolia**
Arrive at Buyant Ukhaa airport /or railway station/. Transfer to a hotel. Welcome dinner. At the tour briefing after dinner, the group will be told about the highlights and every single details of the trip. Overnight in the hotel. (B)
**Day 2: Warm-up ride**
Before we set off, we will visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery, the center and is the most visited place by the Mongolian Buddhists. Afternoon, we will drive to the first campsite, Matriin Bulan (115 kms east from UB), by the Tuul River, and will greet the groom, who are experienced working with foreigners and will escort you for the entire trip.

**Day 3: First full-day ride at every paces**
Full day ride. The first four days we will be riding in the mountain and forest zone of the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. This particular day we will be riding through picturesque landscape with amazing formations of rock. Zuunbayan river valley is rich in crystals (there was a crystal mine in the valley, but after the area became ''Strictly Protected Area'' it was closed) and other minerals. **Day 4: Through forest and along Tuul river**
Waken up by tea or coffee, served in your tent, and after breakfast everyone will start to pack up. All our camping equipment, a ger, luggage and food will be loaded on khainag-carts and will be heading to the next campsite. You have a chance to watch how a ger is dismantled and can also give hands in the process. The carts will cover twelve kms, heading directly to the next campsite, as we ride in the mountains, with pine and silver birch trees. Picnic by Tuul River, the longest and one of the biggest rivers in Mongolia. Today we will be exploring beautiful flowers and wild berries. There is a mineral water spring in this valley, which has curative properties to heal liver diseases. Overnight in tents by the Galtai River, a tributary to Tuul River. (BLD)
**Day 5: Riding high-2200 m above sea level**
The mountain guides will take us along the mountain ridges and over the passes of Dulaan Khan mountain where we''ll get fantastic panoramic view over river valleys and neighboring mountains, as well as through larch forest with beautiful wildflower patches before noon, and relatively flat terrain in the afternoon. This day we will be riding as high as 2200 m above sea level. Overnight near Nevsei Mountain. (BLD)
**Day 6: Among nomad families**
We already will be out of the Strictly Protected Area and among nomads'' families. After the end of full day ride we will pitch our camp by a horse-breeding family and meet the locals (horse trainers-cowboys), feel the atmosphere. Overnight in tent by the family. (BLD)
**Day 7: Experiencing Mongolian horsemanship**
We''ll wake up early in the morning with the sunrise; horsemen will lead us to a place in the mountain, where horses are. After finding them, we will drive them down to the family, will catch fowls and tie them in the line. Guides will tell us how to manage with all these things. After having breakfast, we will watch the cowboys catching untamed horses and training them. This day''s activities include, watching rodeos training the horses, women milking mares, distilling shimiin arkhi from fermented yogurt and visiting nomad family. The visit demonstrates their hard and nature-loving life. Observe the nomad''s daily works, particularly the processing of dairy products, dried meat and famous airag, the fermented mare milk. A night before, tourists will be given instruction about ger ethics. Souvenirs, candies and chocolates can be offered to family members and children. Overnight in tent at the same campsite. (BLD)
**Day 8: Real Mongolian barbeque**
After completing a half-day ride we are up to a highlight of the day, which is Mongolian barbeque! This is going to be made in real Mongolian way. The meat dish is grilled with hot stones, and has a unique taste. Holding the hot stones said to relieve the tiredness and improves blood circulation! It is always possible to befriend with the locals, riding with them in free time. Same campsite. (BLD)
**Day 9: Yearling race**
Half day ride again. We''ll have lunch back at the campsite. In the afternoon, we will gather by finish line of 5-km race of one-year old horses, organized especially for you! Mongolians start to train horses for race from their young age (yearling), and it is normally 10 km race during Naadam Festival. First five places will be awarded. Overnight at the same campsite. **Day 10: Northern edge of the Steppe-Desert zone**
The last riding day. Today the riders will explore Gun Galuutai Valley, which is the northern edge of desert-steppe zone, and is a birthplace of famous Mongolian poet D.Natsagdorj. More flat terrain for galloping.
Tonight our vehicle will arrive to the campsite. Say goodbye to the groom, those who helped us in countryside and the horses. Same campsite. (BLD)
**Day 11: Ulaanbaatar: Folk concert**
Drive to Ulaanbaatar, (app.3 hours), picnic on the way. Shower in hotel; visit the Natural History Museum, where the largest dinosaur skeleton is displayed. 6 p.m. Attend a concert of Mongolian folk ensemble ''Tumen Ekh''. Songs and dances of different ethnic groups of Mongolia, contortion, throat-singing and ''tsam'' ritual dance are performed. Farewell dinner in an oriental restaurant. Overnight in the hotel. (BLD)
**Day 12: Saying goodbye**
