Our Guesthouse is situated in Soppong (Pangmapa), the 'Wilderness Adventure Centre'. It´s a small Shan village located in the Pai Wildlife Sanctuary in northwest Thailand, Province Mae Hong Son (60 km northeast of Mae Hong Son).
The facilities include eight 2-bed bungalows (shower, hot water, fan, mosquito nets) and two 2-bed rooms in the main building. We have a restaurant (Thai and Western food) and a bar. You can relax at our swimming pool, in the pavilion right by the Nam Lang River or in our beautiful tropical garden. The mountainous and remote Soppong area is famous for its extensive forests, numerous rivers, waterfalls, caves (up to 14 km long) and hill tribe villages belonging to Lisu, Karen, Lahu, Hmong and others.
We organize trekking, caving, white water canoeing, elephant riding or visiting hill tribe villages for small groups (usually 2-6 persons). Our visitors are backpackers, nature lovers, expatriate families from Chiang Mai or researchers, for example, biologists or ethnologists.
Massage and motorbike rental are available.
Free acommodation for a second guest staying in the same bungalow!
We offer lower rates from 01 May until 31 October.
We speak Thai, English, German and Danish.
