Lipica and Skocjan Caves With Last Resort Int. Backpackers Departing from Bled , Slovenia

This tour takes you almost to the Slovenian/Italian border near Trieste to witness some of Slovenia''s oldest treasures. Arriving first at the Skocjan Caves, clients are amazed at the ancient cave system with its active stalagtites and stalagmites, huge rock cathedrals and deep chambers.

Then its onto the town of Lipica where the original stud for the famous white Lippazan horses was established in 1580. Included is a tour of the stables and a traditional dressage show that rivals the likes of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna which has made these horses famous. The tour then takes clients to the picturesque Predjama Castle near Postjana which hangs dramatically in the middle of a 123m cliff! The tour then returns to Bled.

Other activities can be added on request such as dinner in Ljubjana, Slovenia''s capital. The tour price does not include any admission fees that must be paid for entry to any establishments or
national parks.
