Leasowe Castle offers a perfect combination of style, comfort and elegance in a tranquil setting with 6 acres of grounds overlooking Leasowe Golf Course and the sea.
The castle, which dates back to 1592, was built for Ferdinand 2nd Heir to the English throne to allow him to watch horse racing on the Meols Sands.
Lawton Hotels have owned the castle since November 2000. Since then a programme of sympathetic refurbishment has taken place including new bedrooms, function suites and landscaping.
Overlooking the sea, it used to be the headquarters of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club during the 2006 Open Golf Championship. The Hotel is located less than five miles from the course.
New Health and Fitness Suite opened in May 2004.
