Lakeside House B&B offers friendly, family home accommodation with large peaceful gardens and scenic views of Creggan Lough. Our guest bedrooms are all ensuite with TV and there is a comfortable guests' lounge to relax in after your journey.
We are close to Westport, one of the most vibrant towns on the West Coast of Ireland and are happy to pick people up with their luggage off the train or bus. If you are travelling by car, we have private car parking facilities and are an ideal centre for touring Connemara, (being situated on the main road to Clifden).
We look forward to meeting you and invite you to treat Lakeside House as a home from home. There is always a cup of tea and a chat on arrival in our comfortable guest lounge and the breakfast of your choice is served up until 9.30am in the dining room.
Westport is one of two planned towns in Ireland and is one of the most attractive destinations to visit. It is unique in its character, blending the traditional and the modern. Westport offers a wide selection of high quality restaurants, excellent shopping facilities and lively pubs with traditional music. For the sporty types there are numerous swimming pools and gyms scattered around the town.
Local amenities include fishing, golf, watersports, hillwalking, blueflag beaches, horseriding and tennis.
Please note that triple rooms have a double bed and a single bed. Triple rooms can be booked by 2 people at the same rate.
