Lake Tahoe 2 Day (Ski) Trip

The day begins with picking you up from your lodging between 1:30 and 2:00 pm and heading east across the Bay Bridge offering great views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and Fisherman''s Wharf.
We stop for a snack in the Central Valley. Famous for it''s rich volcanic soil, the Central Valley is a booming agricultural region best known for Almonds, Grapes, Tomatoes, Peaches and Strawberries.
After breakfast we begin our journey up through the cattle and horse ranching lands of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Continuing on through California gold country, passing the old gold rush towns of Auburn and Colfax. We descend over Donner Pass, arguably one of the most beautiful views in the Tahoe region, to Donner Lake and head to our lodging on Lake Tahoe. After getting settled, we regroup for dinner and a night out at the casinos and check out the nightlife.
In the morning, we have a day on Lake Tahoe. The elevations are always above 7,000 feet with great views of Lake Tahoe. You will also see some of the small communities that have sprung up around the lake. You will have time to explore around the lake, shop and hit the casinos.
If you are opting to ski or snowboard, you will have a full day of riding or skiing at a world class resort.
After the lifts close, we reconvene and head back to the city. Stopping for a quick bite to eat, we return between 8 and 9 PM.
