There''s no backtracking as this tour follows a loop from Darwin back to Darwin. There''s a choice of a cruise or canoe on Katherine Gorge and the chance to swin in some of the beautiful fresh waterfalls at Litchfield. Travel with a maximum of 20 people in an air-conditioned vehicle.
**DAY ONE (L,D)**
After pick up from your Hotel or accommodation, we head towards Kakadu National Park. Our first adventure is a crocodile spotting cruise. Next we stop for a visit at the Bark Hut Inn before continuing on into Kakadu. We cross the South Alligator River before heading to the Bowali Visitors Centre for information on how the park was formed. After lunch we head for Ubirr/Obiri Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views. Watch sunset over Yellow Water billabong before going to our camp site.
**DAY TWO (B,L,D)**
After breakfast we visit Barramundi Gorge in the dry season and Baraolba Springs or Gunlom Falls when Barramundi Gorge is inaccessible. Both locations offer an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore spectacular sandstone country. After lunch travel south out of the park into the historic mining area of Pine Creek. On the way we stop in at Edith Falls for a refreshing swim. We finish the day by travelling to our campsite at the historic Springvale Homestead.
**DAY THREE (B,L,D)**
After an early start we travel to the majestic Katherine Gorge for a choice of a two hour cruise or a canoeing adventure. The waters are clear, cool and safe for swimming. After lunch we travel back up towards Darwin and continue on to our campsite on the outskirts of Litchfield National Park. Again, dinner is served around the camp fire.
**DAY FOUR:(B,L)**
After breakfast, we depart for Litchfield Park. Litchfield is famous for it''s scenic beauty, waterfalls and safe swimming. We visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests. On the way back to Darwin, we visit the township of Batchelor and return to Darwin approximately 6.30pm.
