Day 1 – Arrival Day: Welcome to Istanbul
A private transfer awaits you at Ataturk International Airport. Today we rest in preparation for two sightseeing days ahead.
Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour (B+L)
This morning we embark on a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, Europe and Asia. We visit the Blus Mosque, Saint Sophia Museum, Hippodrome before lunch. This afternoon sees us exploring the Topkapi Palace, home to many Sultans, and the Suleymaniye Mosque.
Day 3 – Istanbul City Tour (B + L)
Today we visit the Egyptian spice market before boarding a boat and cruising the stretch of water seperating Europe from Asia. We visit the Rumeli Fortress along the way and stop for lunch. This afternoon we visit the Beylerbeyi Place and observe stunning views of Istanbul’s highest point, Camlica. If time permits, we may wish to try our hand at bargaining in some of Istanbul’s local shops.
Day 4 – Tour finishes (B)
This morning after breakfast, our tour concludes and we are left with some very special memories of one of the most exotic cities of the world.
N.B. Certain sites are closed on certain days. For example the Topkapi Palace is closed every Tuesday. The Saint Sophia is closed every Monday.
