In this trip you will discover 3 of the mysteries of the Inca civilization: first, the sacred path to Machu Picchu, which remained unexplored for almost 400 years. Secondly, you will sail lake Titicaca and stay in one of its islands to discover the ancient culture of the Andes. Finally, you will over-fly the mysterious Nazca lines, which its purpose still remains a mystery. This tour mixes different adventures, you will ride on a horse, you will hike the Inca trail and explore the bottom of one of the deepest canyons in the world.
**ITINERARY:**
**1st DAY:** Transfer to the airport in Lima / Flight to Cusco (9 AM)/ Transfer to the Hotel in Cusco. Cusco City Tour: 1st day. After settle down, you will visit the high points of Cusco city specially the remains of the colonial times as the Casa Garcilazo, the Cathedral and San Blas church. In the night you will have a welcome party.
**2nd DAY:** Cusco City Tour: 2nd day. Today, you will visit the Inca remains of Cusco city. The tour will start in Sacsayhuaman, a fortress built by the Incas to protect the capital of the empire. From there you will ride on a horse for 3 hours to visit 3 other archeological sites: Qenqo (a temple where sacrifices took place); Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
**3rd DAY:** Excursion to the Incas Sacred Valley: We will take you to Pisac, the first town in the Urubamba Valley. After visit the local market, you will do a short hike of 3 hours to visit the Inca temple on top of a hill and an Inca cemetery on a cliff. Then, we will take you back to Pisac to lunch. Afterwards, we will take you to Ollantaytambo town, after a nice ride along the valley. In Ollantaytambo you will visit a huge Inca temple. Finally, we will take you back to Cusco city in the evening.
**4th DAY:** Inca trail: 1st day. We will take you to the beginning of the Inca trail (Km. 82), from there the trail goes for 1 hour and an half before lunch, and then 2 hours more to reach the campsite. You will see Llactapata ruins and camp at Wayllabamba with an amazing view of a snow-capped peak.
**5th DAY:** Inca trail: 2nd day. Today you will start the hike early to reach after 4 hours the Warmiwañuska pass, the highest point on the trail (4,200 meters / 13,780 ft). After rest on top of the pass, the group will start the descend to the Pacamayo valley, there the group will camp for lunch and rest.
**6th DAY:** Inca trail: 3rd day. This day is the most amazing one, the hike starts with an ascend to the Runkurakay pass (3,950 mts. / 12,959 ft), from there the view of the mountains and the cloudforest is quite impressive. After the pass, the path goes down and the sceneries are more like a rainforest. Along the path it are 3 main ruins, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca and Wiñay Wayna.
**7th DAY:** Inca trail: 4th day. We will wake you up early in the morning (4:30 AM) to start the hike at 5:30 am and reach Inti Punku (Sun''s Gate) before 7 AM to watch the first sun beams hit Machu Picchu. You will spend the whole morning in Machu Picchu to visit every room, every temple, every field, and don''t miss any detail of this dream came true. In the afternoon, we will take you to Aguas Calientes town to lunch and then take the train back to Cusco. You will be in Cusco in the evening (9 PM).
**8th DAY:** You will have the day free for your shopping and to enjoy the city of Cusco at your own pace. OPTIONAL: Rafting on the Urubamba river. We will take you to the Urubamba river to raft. The level of it is very good, adventurous but safe.
**9th DAY:** Journey to Puno: Today, you will take the bus to Puno. Along the path you will enjoy wonderful views of Andean landscapes as mountains, valleys, small towns, llamas, etc. You will arrive to Puno at 3 PM.
**10th DAY:** Excursion to lake Titicaca: 1st day. In the morning, you will take a boat to visit the Uros and Amantani islands. The first stop is Uros islands, known as the ''floating islands'' because it are made with totora (kind of reed) by its inhabitants. Then, we will take you to the Amantani island by boat also. There, you will be welcome by the community, and you will stay with a local family in their house. After lunch, we will take you to the top of a hill in the island, to watch the sunset on the lake. In the night, you will be the guest of a party with the local people.
**11th DAY:** Excursion to lake Titicaca: 2nd day. After breakfast, you will go to Taquile Island, home of an ancient community. If you want you can swim in the lake. You will be back in Puno at 4 PM.
**12th DAY:** Tours in Puno: Today, we will take you to the archeological sites of Sillustani and Chucuito. The first one is a sacred cemetery of the Incas, with tombs like towers, done with huge rocks. The second one is a town with an Inca temple for fertility with phallus-shaped stones sculptures, it''s very funny. In the afternoon (2:30 PM), you will take the bus to Arequipa. You will arrive there in the evening (8:30 PM).
**13th DAY:** Arequipa City Tour: In the morning, you will visit the high points of this city as the Cathedral, Santa Catalina Convent and La Compania cloisters. After lunch (2:30 PM), you will take the bus to the Colca Valley.
**14th DAY:** Excursion to the Colca Canyon: 1st day. You will descend 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) from Cabanaconde town to the bottom of one of the deepest canyons in the world. Then, you will cross the Colca river by a bridge to visit the other side of the canyon, the views are quite impressive. Finally, the group will camp in an oasis with swimming pools.
**15th DAY:** Excursion to the Colca Canyon: 2nd day. You will hike for 3 hours from the bottom of the canyon until Cabanaconde town. There you will take the bus to Arequipa. You will get in Arequipa in the evening (7 PM) for dinner and some party.
**16th DAY:** Day Free in Arequipa: You will have the day free for your last shopping and to enjoy this lovely city at your own pace. In the afternoon (4 PM), you will take the bus to Nazca. It takes 8 hours to get in this city.
**17th DAY:** Over-flight to the Nazca Lines: In the morning you will go aboard a small aircraft for 4 up to 6 passengers to over-fly the mysterious Nazca lines. The flight lasts 35 minutes, and you will see about 12 figures on the desert. In the midday (1:30 PM) you will take the bus to Lima. It takes 6 hours to get there. Once in Lima, we will take you to the hotel.
OPTIONAL: For the group members who doesn''t want to hike the Inca Trail or the Colca Canyon, we can organize other Tours (including Machu Picchu of course) on those dates for the same price.

**MEETING:**
