Hotel Saint Petersburg, built in 1858 and newly reconstructed in 2002, offers you facilities for rest in an environment that combines ancient and modern European atmosphere. The building is situated in the historical centre of Karlovy Vary (in front of the mineral spas). All of the city's historical, cultural and public buildings are near to the hotel.
We offer spacious, comfortable rooms each of which is equipped with a toilet, shower, telephone, and television (featuring Russian stations). Karlovy Vary (also referred to as Carlsbad) was founded by Charles IV in the middle of the fourteenth century. The emergence and development of the city have been inextricably tied to the abundance of springs rich in minerals that today represent the primary attraction of the city. It has grown into a spa resort town, though that's not the city's only role as outside of the city, porcelain, Mouser crystal, and Becherovka are manufactured.
Karlovy Vary plays host to the annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, music festivals, and international science conferences and symposia. The list of significant figures to have spent time in Carlsbad includes Peter I, Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Pagalini, List, Freud, and Gogol.
