Our family-run Hotel is in the centre of Sneek in the North of Holland. The Province is called Friesland. Sneek was listed in the top 5 of best watersport holiday resorts in the world according to the BBC.
Sneek has many canals and lakes in the surroundings. In 20 minutes you are at the Waddenzee, a wonderful sea between the coast and five islands. Also in 20 minutes there are forests with mountain bike trails. In Friesland (as in Holland) there are a lot of cyclypaths to cycle or to skate. In the winter people skate on ice through the canals (when the ice is 10 cm thick).
Sneek has a lot of café's, pubs, bars, discos and is a also loved for the standard and varieties of shops. Boats and bicycles are easy to rent.
