Come visit & experience Pictou hospitality where you'll find a small town atmosphere, a beautiful harbour restored waterfront and a wonderful historic/cultural center. Hostel Pictou Backpackers is located in the downtown area close to all amenities such as pubs, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.
It is a large home built in 1848,with many original features (hardwood floors, castiron rads, woodwork,etc) still intact. We also offer a large shady backyard, parking onsite and a very friendly and helpful staff (& cats).
We are a seasonal Hostel open from May to early October and a member of Nova Scotia Tourism so check us out during any of the major festivals including the Lobster Carnival in July, the Hector Festival in August and New Scotland Days in September.
Please note we accept cash and Travellers Cheques on arrival.
