HI-Cabañas Campeche is a cottage-style centre in a beautiful countryside 1,600m high, 3 hours from Santa Cruz. This is a resort village on a key road to the Andean Valleys of Sucre or Cochabamba.
Well maintained, with an excellent infrastructure in bath, showers and kitchen and with a lot of fresh air, we invite you to stay some days up here, leaving the hot and wet climate of the subtropical part of Bolivia.
Samaipata's attractions are "El Fuerte" - an pre-Inca holy place, carved in stone on one big rock - newly preserved and very impressive to visit and the north entrance to the Amboro National Park - attractive trekking and camping and last but not least an old colonial village with nice pubs and restaurants.
