Our Guesthouse is situated in a friendly surrounding, just 300 metres from the centre of Tucepi and its beaches. The beaches and sea are exceptionally clean. We have six apartments available in our Guesthouse, which also has an indoor pool, sauna and cafe bar. Our apartments are equipped with kitchenettes, private bathrooms, cable TV and air conditioning. They are nicely furnished and have private terraces.
The settlement at Tucepi dates back to antiquity. Fragments of furniture of the early Christian church from the 5th-6th century and several medieval tombstones were found in the graveyard. The settlement was first mentioned by its current name in 1424. The church of St. Juraj was built in the transitional Romanesque-Gothic style at the end of the 13th century.
Next to the church, there is a Roman tombstone stele, a medieval tombstone slab and two large standing tombstones. According to a folk legend, the Venetian duke Pietro Candian was buried there. In the 18th century, rich Makarska families built villas in Tučepi. Today it offers many opportunities for recreation, and has a vibrant nightlife.
You may also want to make some excursions to the nearby Islands while you are staying in Tucepi.
