**Day 1. Arrive in Mongolia** Our guide will pick you up from the airport /or railway station/ and shall move towards the hotel. Overnight in the hotel. (D) **Day 2. To Khognokhaan-one of the most beautiful mountains in Mongolia** This morning you will visit ''Gandantegchinlen'' Monastery, where Buddhist ceremonies take place and you will have a chance to feed pigeons over there and accumulate a charity for yourself. After the visit, drive to Khognokhaan Mountain (280 kms west from Ulaanbaatar), the center of Mongolia. Visit to a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forest and Gobi-type in one location. In evening enjoying Mongolian night sky, star watching with fun, singing, dancing. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (BLD) **Day 3. To Kharakhorum-the ancient capital** Drive to old capital of the Mongolian Empire-Kharakhorum, which was destroyed by invading Chinese forces in the 15th century. One can see the turtle statue guarding the walls of lost city, also visit the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex of Erdene Zuu (Hundred treasures). Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (BLD) **Day 4. To Ovorkhangai and semi-desert** Drive to Guchin Us, which is halfway between Kharakhorum and Khongoriin els sand dunes. Today we will already be feeling Gobi Desert- scarce vegetations, dry and hot air, horizon stretched so far away,… Overnight in tent. (BLD) **Day 5. To Gobi-the site of ancient inland seas** Drive to legendary Gobi Desert. The Gobi Desert holds many thrilling surprises such as site of ancient inland sea, the Gobi is a treasure chest of fossilized dinosaur bones and eggs and rare animals, such as-Argali (wild mountain sheep), Przhevalsky''s Horses, Asiatic Wild Asses, Wild Bactrian Camels, Snow Leopards and Siberian Ibexes are just few of many of them that are inhabited in the region. Drive to Khongoriin els sand dunes (230 kms from Guchin Us). Known as Singing sand dunes, Khongor Sand dunes are up to 300 m high, 15 km wide, and 180 km long. The view is indescribable from the top of the dunes. There is an oasis near Khongor Gol at the northern edge of the sand dune. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (BLD) **Day 6. Bactrian camel** Sand climbing in the morning. Start camel ride from Adag nuur, that small lake fulfills an important role for migratory birds from China, especially in the spring, to Chonjiin khotgor the picturesque area. Throughout Mongolia, you will see the two-humped Bactrian camel. They are very comfortable to ride (of course between the two humps), but bit too slow, averaging about 5 km per hour and a camel can last for over a week without water, and a month without food, carry around 250 kg, carry about one-third of all cargo around the Gobi Desert. Overnight in tent. (BLD) **Day 7. To Chono Shurguul Saksaul forest** Continue camel ride tour toward the Chono shurguul saksaul forests, the small part of forests over the Gobi which protect the soils from erosion. Picnic lunch on the way. Overnight in tent. BLD **Day 8. Relaxing** Riding back to tourist Ger camp. Overnight in the camp. BLD **Day 9. To Yoliin Am - Folk concert** Drive to Yoliin Am (Lammergeier''s Gorge) is a picturesque place, there is ice even in summer and surrounded by sheer rocky walls, forming incredible canyons. Visit Gobi museum. You can walk over the ice inside the magnificent gorge. Picnic lunch on the way. Drive to tourist Ger camp and overnight there. In the evening you will attend folk performance. (BLD) **Day 10. En route Middle Gobi-Dinosaur site** Drive to Erdenedalai soum via Bayanzag. The Bayanzag, which means ''rich in saksaul shrubs'', is more commonly known as the red ''Flaming Cliffs''. This is ''A Cemetery of Dinosaurs''. Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (BLD) **Day 11. Tuv Province-scenic rocks** Journey to Sum khuh burd, Baga gadzriin chuluu and Zorgol Khairkhan mountain. The Zorgol khairkhan mountain is composed of granite rock, being in the Granite Belt of Mongolia. The mountain has an elevation of 1.686 meters above sea level, and was mentioned as Zorgol Khan in the ''Secret History of Mongols''. The Baga Gadzriin chuluu is another granite rock formation in the middle of the dusty plains. Five kms away, the highest peak in the area, Baga Gadzriin Uul (1768m), will take about five hours to climb. Overnight in tent near Bayan Unjuul. (BLD) **Day 12. Observing Przewalski horses; Ulaanbaatar** Drive to Ulaanbaatar via Khustain Nuruu National Park. Visit Khustai nuruu. The 50.620 hectare reservation area protects the takhi, Mongolia''s wild horse, re-introduced from European zoos. This species is last seen in the wild in 1969, since then no one observed them. Picnic lunch on the way. Drive to capital city 110 kms from Khustai. Overnight in the hotel. (BLD) **Day 13. Ulaanbaatar-farewell dinner** Visit Natural History Museum and Bogd Khaan''s Winter Palace Museum. After lunch you will be taken to souvenir and cashmere shops. Then in the evening will go to the concert of ''Tumen ekh'' Mongolian national ensemble of folk song and dance. In the evening a farewell dinner at the European cuisine restaurant. (BLD) **Day 14. Depart Mongolia** Transfer to the airport /or railway station/, travel to the next destination. (B)
