**Day 1** New Delhi to Amritsar by Shatawdi, evening sight seeing including Bagha border on Indo Pak frontiers, Palki Sahib and Golden Temple. Overnight at M.K Hotel **Day 2** Drive to Dharamsala, evening free to explore Little Tibet by yourself. **Day 3** Full day in Dharamsala. Visiting Namgyal Monastery, the house of HH Dalai Lama, Tibetan Medical Centre, Tibetan Library, Tibetan Parliament, Tibetan Children Village and Tibetan Handicraft Centre. **Day 4** Dharamsala to Mandi en route visiting Karmapa monastery, Shiv Temple Baijnath and evening after check in at Munish Resort visit to Trilokinath temple of Mandi. Visit to RiwalsarLake and Padamsambhava cave is another attraction of the day. Overnight at Munish Resort. **Day 5** Mandi to Sarahan over Jalori Pass, the route of old Himalayan Car rallies. Overnight at Hotel Shrikhand Mahadev. **Day 6** Sarahan to Kalpa: En route visiting Rekang Peo and the new Buddhist monastery built to commemorate His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s “Kalchakra Sermon’. Looming in front of Kalpa is the impressive “Kinnar Kailash” (6050M) This mountain changes colours every day with the change of weather conditions. After tea at Camp Kalpa, walk to the ancient Chini Village, which offers a good opportunity to observe the lifestyle of the inhabitants, its architecture, custom and religion. Overnight at Camp. **Day 7** Kalpa to Nako with a visit to Kanum Library of Buddhism. This day you experience Timberline- a line beyond which forests don’t grow. The barren and rugged brown mountains start from Jangi (check post), which get more rugged and barren after Puh (2837M) 77 Kms. You continue along the Sutlej river until you reach Khab (2831M) 11 Kms from Puh. Here you meet roaring Sutlej coming down from far of Tibet. Khab is the confluence of rivers Sutlej and Spiti. A direct climb on smooth, army maintained road with several hairpin bends takes you to Nako (3959M), 31 Kms from Khab. Nako is a village, even a painter can not imagine without seeing it, a walk through the very old village takes you to the temple of Padamsambhava, the second incarnation of lord Buddha who made Buddhism popular in the Trans Himalayas. The beautiful Nako lake is the real beauty of the day. Overnight at Camp near village. **Day 8** Nako to Tabo, ''the Ajanta of Himalayas''. Geographically and archeologically, Spiti is nothing else but a living museum. The mountains are devoid to any vegetation due to erosion by wind, sun and snow over thousands of years. Climb up to the village Tabo 93050M) Built around the year 996 AD, the Chos Khor monastery at Tabo is the largest monastery in Spiti and one of the few remaining examples of the golden period of Buddhist Culture in the Himalayan region. It belongs to the tenth century and is located 50 Kms. from Kaza. It is a famous gompa next to Tholing Gompa in Tibet. Murals of this gompa have a great similarity to that of the Ajanta paintings. Overnight at Camp. **Day 9** Tabo to Pin Valley- The national reserve forest. Morning short but exciting walk to facing mountain to see the oldest caves on barren mountains of Tabo, the inside Lamas in meditation and Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism. Drive to Pin Valley a valley amazingly green in Spiti. We move up to Kungri Gompa, another old monastery of Spiti, this is the place of again several in-house monks and Buddhist school. Full day to find individual imaginations about a traditional, ancient Buddhist village, believe, your world is several hundred years ahead of these villages, here you are back in time. Overnight at Camp at Gulling. **Day 10** Pin Valley to Dankar, Lalung monasteries and to Kaza, a full day sight seeing of different surrounding monasteries. The total journey will not exceed 50-60 Kms in this day. Dankar was once the King’s Palace of Spiti, the rock cut monastery is amazingly surviving on a edge of barren dry mountain. This is again one of the oldest monasteries of Spiti. DHANKAR MONASTERY is situated about 25 Kms. east of Kaza and serves eastern part of central Spiti. Overnight at hotel. **Day 11** Kaza to Batal over majestic Kunzam La pass. Kaza (3600M) to Chota Dara (3960M) is 103Kms, which takes about 06 hrs with a short halt at Kunzam Pass (4551M). The road gives an experience of several small Himalayan Villages where women often are seen with a full cloth on their faces to avoid cold harsh wind coming down from high passes. We are moving under the CB ranges of mountains, the Chandra River, which originates from Chander Tal Lake remains with us towards Batal. Overnight at Camp. **Day 12** Batal to Keylong. Morning scene is extremely beautiful with all views of Kunzam top, Bara Shigri Glacier (second biggest glaciers of the world), open valley and wide Chandra river. 84Kms/ 07 hrs. Enter your passport numbers at Koksar check post. Overnight at hotel. **Day 13** Keylong to Pang over Baralacha Pass. O/N Camp. **Day 14** Pang to Tsoker. Over night camp. Over night at camp. **Day 15** Tsokar and Tsemoriri Lake. Overnight at Camp. **Day 16** Drive to Leh, evening explore the Leh market. Overnight at Kanglha Chen hotel. **Day 17, 18, 19, and 20** Days to explore in and out of Leh town at your own free will. **Day 21** Fly back to Delhi.
