Welcome to our 300 year old Guesthouse set in the beautiful old city of Edam, world famous for its cheese production.
We have a café/penison with 5 apartments and a studio. The apartments have all a shower, toilet and kitchenette. The studio has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living with kitchen.
Every apartment has its own staircase, a shower and a toilet and a kitchen. The floor is isolated so you are not disturbed by the noise of the bar.
The cafe is located only 8 minutes from BurgGolf Purmerend, one of the biggest golf resorts of Holland with two 18-hole and a 9-hole course. It is also only 20 minutes from Amsterdam.
The building used to be a storehouse, shop and liquor shop for the sailing ships that were build in the city of Edam. The bar is 150 years old, although the building was rebuilt in 2002.
Every Sunday afternoon there is a concert in the bar. The music styles are jazz, blues and country but Dutch music is often heard
Every half an hour there goes a bus to the Cultural Centre of Holland. Also during the night there is a good connection with Amsterdam. The Hotel is situated in the beautifull quit City of Edam. Volendam and Marken are 10 minutes from Edam and you can also visit the famous Cheese Markets,
