The teeming city of Chengdu is the gateway to Tibet as well as Sichuan. Chengdu Dreams Travel International Hostel is situated on the Wuhouci Road, right in the center of Chengdu, across the street from Wuhou Temple Museum. To all sides you'll find a profusion of good places to dine. Enjoy the famous Sichuan kitchens at first hand, or select a specialty restaurant presenting other popular varieties of Chinese cooking. Along the Wuhouci Road you can pick and choose from high quality hand crafted souvenirs and a fine selection of Tibetan wares. Chengdu is an important outlet for all things Tibetan.
From our gates you will catch sight of the lovely Nanjiao Park, a calm green oasis within the bustling city.
Anywhere you want to go, be it by bus, train or plane, you'll find suitable connections nearby. Our receptionist will be glad to point the way.
- Simple, clean, secure and inexpensive -
Dreams Travel International Hostel adheres to the established international standards of Hostels. Select accommodations to suit your needs and your purse - there are rooms for two, three and four guests, some with bunks others with regular beds. Our dormitory rooms vary in size from six to ten beds/bunks. All rooms are air-conditioned.
Dreams Travel International Hostel places at your disposal a fully equipped kitchen suited to European/American style cooking as well as Chinese. From our dining room you will sit overlooking the temple garden with its majestic century old trees. If you want to cook a barbecue you may rent suitable utensils from our receptionist. In our reading room you will find a selection of relevant travel literature and magazines. you'll also find our four PCs, all with internet access by fast ADSL. Naturally, we provide our guests with laundry services. Washers and driers are at your disposal for a small charge.
We are proud to provide abundant water for hot showers 24 hours a day . There are modern shower stalls on each guest floor, each stall sectioned into four cubicles for privacy.
Our public lounge on the ground floor next to reception, is equipped with a small bar and TV. A nice place to relax with your travel companions or new friends.
Ask for one of our rental bikes. Biking in the flat city of Chengdu requires almost no effort at all.

The Dreams Travel International Hostel is an extension of the Dream Travels Agency, pecializing in Tibetan and Sichuan trips for the single traveller as well as groups. If you want to know more about particular routes, please contact the reception.
At reception you may book trips directly. This service is provided by our parent company, the Dreams Travels Agency. Though tourism by foreign nationals is comparatively new in China, we have already gained ten years of experience providing bookings for accommodations and transport, as well as professional guides, drivers and vehicles to suit your needs. We provide experienced teams that specialize in climbing, rafting and hiking, all with a mind to keeping you out of harms way. Furthermore, we will be glad to assist you should you require tickets for planes, trains or boats, in particular the Three Gorges boats.
