Description of Game Lodge:
The Bundu Safari Lodge is conveniently situated within the game rich Greater Kruger Park area, 40 km from Kruger’s Orpen gate. The lodge is within close proximity to all the popular tourist attractions like the Kruger National Park, Drakensburg Escarpment, Blyde River Canyon, Wildlife Research Centres and Traditional African Culture villages. This three star safari lodge blends in with its natural surroundings and ensures a true African bush experience.
Accommodation is in authentic thatch- roof chalets, vibrant fabrics and local hardwood furniture all create that rustic yet comfortable bush atmosphere. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, overhead fans, mosquito nets and wooden decks that overlook the lodge and surrounding bushveld.
Facilities include a lounge, bar, swimming pool and an open air Boma, where traditional dinners are served around a log fire. Apart from the game drives and game walks, the lodge also offers optional daily excursions to places of local interest. Game drives are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles with rangers and trackers.
Itinerary
**Day 1**
Depart from Johannesburg/Pretoria between 06:00 and 07:00. We make our way to the Northern Province and the heart of the central Lowveld. This area is a premier eco-tourist destination, with ever present views on the Drakensberg Escarpment and adjacent Kruger National Park. We arrive at a private game lodge, situated on the western boundary of the greater Kruger Park, part of the developing Kruger to Canyon Project.
We enjoy a late afternoon lunch in the tranquil African bushveld and have time to settle in and relax before heading out on our first exciting afternoon/evening game drive in open 4x4 vehicles. We enjoy sundowners at one of the waterholes, before continuing our game drive into the night.
After an exciting evening drive, we return to the lodge for a boma dinner around the log fire.
**Day 2**
After breakfast, we spend the day at our leisure, relaxing at the lodge, taking a leisurely bush walk within the conservancy or taking in some of the optional activities offered by the lodge. These activities include, a day drive into Kruger Park, a tour of the Panoramic Route including the Blyde River Canyon, a visit to the Cheetah breeding project or a guided tour of a traditional Shangaan Tribal village. We end the day with a late afternoon/evening game drive. Guided by the aid of spotlights, we track the elusive creatures of the night. We return to camp to enjoy a traditional braai (barbeque), around the log fire.
**Day 3**
Up at sunrise, we begin our day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on our early morning game walk. Guided by armed rangers and trackers, we have the opportunity to encounter some of the “Big Five “on foot. We return to the lodge for a hearty brunch, before departing this magnificent area en route back to Johannesburg/Pretoria, arriving in the late afternoon.

**INCULDES**
2 Nights accommodation in a 3star lodge. Transport in an air-conditioned microbus. 3 meals per day, two night drives in open 4x4 vehicles, morning game walk, services of a qualified guide.
**EXCLUDES**
Alcohol and soft drinks. Tips and gratuities. Breakfast on day of departure and lunch on day of return.
**OPTIONAL**
Day drive in Kruger Park, visit to the Cheetah breeding project, Tribal Village, Panorama route incl. Blyde River Canyon.
