**The BAT OUTBACK Trip.**
**Day 1.** Depart Adelaide central coach terminal at 7am in off road Vehicle and travel to Broken Hill via the Claire Valley staying o/n ''The Silverton Pub''.
**Day 2-4. **Check out the Royal Flying Doctors at Broken Hill and the many artistic wonders that this remote Outback mining town has to offer. A few hours out of town we pass through an outback sheep station (1million acres) and meet a few old mates. Take off around the rolling white dunes of Lake Frome Salt Lake following the route of the Outback mail run through the Strzelecki and Tirari deserts on the way to visit an Aboriginal Community (Adnayamathanha) in the Flinders ranges. We have the time to experience their traditional ways and enjoy some Optional Cultural Activities*.
**Day 5-7.** Head north up the Oodnadatta track following the route of the Old Ghan railway and Overland Telegraph line past the dingo fence to the Salt Pan of Lake Eyre South. Have a swim in one of the thermal springs stopping to have a beer in a remote pub in William Creek (pop 2) then visit the eerie underground dwellings of Coober Pedy, the Worlds Opal capital. Check out the Breakaways, driving through the moon plain into the Territory skirting the Musgrave Ranges past Mulga Park Homestead and onto Uluru (Ayres Rock) for Sunset.
**Day 8-10.** Uluru (Ayers Rock) base walk, visit Aboriginal Cultural Centre and afterwards opportunity to climb. Spend sunset watching the dramatic colour changes of the rock. Up early for a sunrise at Uluru and then hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). We drive out to Watarka (Kings Canyon) to camp at the foothills of the George Gill range. Hike through Kings Canyon and take a dip in the Garden of Eden. A scenic helicopter flight from Kings Creek Station puts the desert landscape into perspective. Tour concludes upon arrival into Alice Springs.
