Breakfast and departure.

Your cooking lessons with the Marmorata''s Chef Antonio di Lieto will focus on dishes typical of the area such as handmade pasta, sauces, seafood and pizza. Antonio, born in the 1963 on the Amalfi Coast, has a natural talent for cooking, especially for the ''Mediterranean Cuisine'' using traditional methods handed down from generation to generation. Throughout the years he has always cultivated a keen interest for good food, primarily because cooking is his family''s tradition.

Antonio started his career very early in Capri where he worked his way up the Culinary Hotel industry ladder beginning as sous chef. He had the opportunity to gain excellent culinary experience by several famous Hotels and restaurants. He worked 4 seasons at one of The Leading Hotel of the World: the Grand Hotel Quisisana, the most important Hotel in Capri, from which he received the qualification of Chef. When he decided to get married, Antonio came back to the Amalfi coast working in Maiori as head chef at the Hotel Panorama, at Hotel Marmorata where in the 1994 he gave a course for the Cordon Bleu, and 9 years at the wellknown Restaurant ''Il Giardiniello''.

During the low season, he spends his time augmenting his cooking experience in different regions of Italy especially for traditional recipes. He has a comprehensive knowledge of national and international dishes, but especially for the typical napolitan and local cuisine.
