Itinerary
Day one
0730 We depart Canberra, to travel the Hume Highway and Albury Wadonga for our lunch stop. We will continue through Wangaratta and Benalla before turning onto the Midland Highway to Shepparton for our first night. L.D.
Day Two
Today our journey takes us through Bendigo, and Ararat before arriving in Halls Gap. We will settle into our accommodation and lunch before visiting the National Park Visitors Centre and the Brambuk Living Cultural Centre. The day will be completed with a visit to the Barooka Lookout before the evening meal. B.L.D.
Day Three
We begin our day of exploring by visiting the spectacular Mackenzie Falls and the Broken Falls, then a well earned morning tea. From here we travel to Wab Manja (Cave of Hands) and lunch. Our return journey takes us along Glenelg River Road to the Reed Lookout and an easy walk to The Balconies for spectacular views. B.L.D.
Day Four
Today we can rise a little later before setting off to enjoy the Wonderland Range in the Grampians; this can be as strenuous or as easy a day, as you wish. B.L.D.
Day Five
Today is the first leg of our return journey, we travel to Echuca to spend the night. Here we will be able to go back in time to discover the ''Port of Echuca''. B.L.D.
Day Six
Full day in Port of Echuca to explore at your leisure. We will meet for the luncheon cruise on the river, time to be advised. B.L.D.
Day Seven
Our final day today, we depart Echuca travelling through southern New South Wales for our return to Canberra. B.
