Our private residence is located in the old historical city centre of St. Petersburg just some minutes away from the famous Nevsky Prospect.

The apartment is situated in the 2nd floor of an old three-storey house from the turn of the century (constructed in 1853). The main entrance to the staircase is in the backyard, which makes it a little bit hidden, but at the same time sheltered.

The entire place was renovated according to high western standards during the whole summer and autumn of 2003. While renovating we tried to compromise and to save as many old elements as we could. So we managed to preserve old mouldings in almost every room and we have restored old floors.

There is a spacious entrance hall, where floors are tiled and have under-floor heating. In the entrance area we have organized a little desk with a computer connected to the Internet.

Our apartment is an old building and we wanted to leave the old room style – that is why we don’t have WC’s or showers directly in the rooms. The guests of our 4 rooms have to share two big bathrooms (two by two in case all four rooms are booked at the same time) with a shower. Both bathrooms have under-floor heating and are situated near the entrance area.

In the middle of the apartment is a spacious light kitchen, which can be also used as a common room. In the kitchen you can help yourself to coffee or tea anytime you wish to. You can also heat up your food you’ve brought or even cook yourself. Besides a normal gas-cooker there is a big coffee machine, microwave oven, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge. The kitchen is also tiled and has under-floor heating.

The TVs in room 1 and 2 receive with the help of the satelites Hotbird and Astra over 500! channels. Romm 3 comes without TV and in room 4 you will find a TV with over 10 Russian TV channels.
