We depart Hobart at 9.00am meandering our way through the beautiful countyside
en route to the ''valley of the giants'' home to the tallest hardwood trees on earth. From the heart of the Styx River Valley these magnificent trees tower 95 metres above the cool lush temperate rainforest.Check out the Christmas and and Cathedral Trees,the Big Stump and the beautiful Shingle Bend.
** Day 2 - Lake St Clair the Wild Rivers National Park & Queenstown
Its time to set off for Lake St Clair National Park.
Lake St Clair is Australia''s deepest lake surronded by a dramatic backdrop of mountains. its sightseeing day today so we give you time to enjoy the short walks and take in the scenery. After Lake St Clair we venture into the Wild Rivers National Park for an afternoon in the heart of world class scenery. Be enchanted by the deep rainforest and cool mountains and walk by the famous Franklin River which carves its way through the depths of the remote and pristine South West Wilderness. Enjoy the views from atop of Donaghy''s lookout and check out the delightful Nelson Falls.
We finish our day in the moonscape surrondings of Queenstown, surely one of Tasmania''s most distinctive towns.

** Day 3 - Cradle Mountain World Heritage Area **
Hoisting daypacks we head into the mountains for a fantastic half day walk. Stepping back into an ancient past, view glaciated lakes and peaks, craters created millions of years ago and walk admist Tasmania''s unique alpine vegetation.The Face Track is one of Tasmania''s most famous walks and showcases the best of Cradle Mountain World Heritage Park
We give you the maximum time to visit this famous area.
