TROPICAL SUMMER PROGRAM (DECEMBER TO MAY)
Day 1: Leaving Darwin at 7.00am we go on to the Fogg Dam Nature Reserve and see a menagerie of birdlife, snakes & other reptiles. Next call in at ''Window on the Wetlands'' and Annaburroo before arriving at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge for lunch & a monsoonal vineforest walk. Enjoy an afternoon crocodile/ wildlife cruise on the pristine Mary River Wetlands and a Vineforest walk before settling down for our overnight camp-- Overnight Point is Stuart Wilderness Lodge (LD)
Day 2:
We head for Mamukala, before viewing Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr. Then we visit Nourlangie Rock, where vivid rock art depicting dreamtime beliefs dating back an estimated 20 000 years can be explored. Finishing the day at Bowali Visitor Centre or Warradjan Cultural Centre, our Overnight Point is at Kakadu permanent campsite (BLD)
Day 3: On this final day we take in Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) and the stunning Nawurlandja Lookout. At your own pace experience the famous Nanguluwur Art Site Walk. Finally we visit the peaceful and tranquil Gubara Springs and Small Falls before returning to Darwin (BL)
Passengers should bring sturdy walking shoes, swimming gear, hat & sunscreen, water bottle, towel and toiletries, torch, pillow, warm clothing in winter months, Insect repellent, camera & film, pillow, sleeping bag (can be provided for $15 cleaning fee, paid in cash on morning of departure).
Tour price includes experienced tour guides, all meals as indicated, motel transfers, camping equipment, water bottle holders. The price is based on camping accommodation. Price does not include park entrance fee.
